Something a Little Different

Every once in a while I get the urge to just paint. Put color on canvas, move it around, make wonderful textures with it. This is the result of the latest urge, with a little bit of a twist: can you guess what else is included in this painting (besides canvas and paint) to give it more texture?

This is 8x10" and I'm calling it "Dream Memories." My sweetie has claimed it for her office at work. I haven't seen it, but I'm beginning to wonder if her office is looking like my own one-woman gallery show, with all my art she's taken up there!

I really like this! I like how you merged the straight lines with the irregular ones. My guesses are you used a cling wrap for some of the texture and tissue paper.

I love this. Sometimes painting is very satisfying--a little more instant gratification that working with fiber. Love the color and composition. Is there dog hair in it (since you have three of them...I have two--there's dog hair everywhere)??!? LOL
Also--thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting about my "faux heart attack". All is well now--no more chest pains.

I really like the texture and also the use of the complementary colors. Well done! nancy

Very nice -- I like the grid effect and the texture. Must be tissue paper.
